This week Traidhos Farm welcomed a visiting “Bug man” Craig Macfarlane. Craig is passionate about the long-term importance bugs could play in diet. He has spent time researching edible insects in West Africa and assessing the effectiveness of entomophagy and the barriers to its expansion.
In 2012, Craig co-founded Bugs for Life, a charitable organisation to research and promote edible insects as a sustainable solution to food security issues. http://bugsforlife.com/
