Body Language

Grade 9 and Grade 10 students all had a chance recently to participate in a workshop on Body Language Skills. We had a chance to observe different body stances and what they indicate about the person (ie: bored, defensive, attentive, relaxed, etc). We took a look at what our own body language might show to our friends, to our peers, to our teachers, to our parents, and even to future employers. We discussed what are some quick ways of tweaking our nonverbal cues to help improve our communication with others.
If you’re interested in getting a glimpse of what the workshop was about, please feel free to look through the slideshow!
