Boarding students have always been introduced to new skills to help them find their way after life in boarding, and this latest opportunity has been put together with the help of “Safe Drive” of Thailand.
This company has their own driving campus, with roads, hills, lights and other obstacles found in driving situations. All this training is under the watchful eyes of professional driving instructors.
Each week 10 students will be individually instructed in the skills of manual and automatic driving in new Toyota cars. Six lessons will be with the manual cars and four lessons with the automatic cars.
At the end of the course, all students will sit the exam with the hope of obtaining the pass certificate that will enable the students to apply for a full Thai license. If this venture is successful, we will hope to offer it to other students throughout the year.
