The Boarding Advantage at Prem
Boarding at Prem gives our students so many opportunities to engage in activities they may not have done at home. […]
Last week there was a national Buddhist holiday in Thailand called Makha Bucha so boarders had a couple of extra days off school. Some Boarders went to visit family, a few stayed on campus but the majority of junior boarders went to Doi Inthanon and the older students went to Pattaya.
In Doi Inthanon the juniors explored the highest peak of Thailand at 2565 meters above sea level. They had a nature and countryside filled experience; enjoying a special tour around the Royal Project Gardens and Fishery and a Jurassic hike around the peak of the doi.
A highlight of the 3 day trip was the hike at Pha Dok Siew waterfall where the students were able to eat freshly picked strawberries and see amazing views across the region.
Now returned back at school the students said they enjoyed the trip but are thoroughly tired out from an action packed few days – good thing they had another couple of restful days before school started again!
