Last Friday at 5 pm students turned off their lights and AC, unplugged their electrical items and left their devices behind to compete in the Boarding Tower Games in honour of World Earth Day. The aim was to bring attention to the number of electricity students use and consciously think about their environmental footprint. Led by A. Emma, boarders divided by their towers participated in a number of traditional games. It was nice to see boarders’ across the age ranges interacting and cheering each other on in the races.
