On Saturday 12 March the Prem Boarding community welcomed children from Hope House for a pool party. Over fifty Hope House children made the journey across Chiang Mai eagerly anticipating some fun in the sun! With the temperature rising, the sun shining, music playing and kayaks ready, an air of excitement began to grow.
To start the morning the Hope House children and Prem students gathered at the pool; A. Steph welcomed the Hope House community and thanked them for joining us for such a wonderful event then it wasn't long until everyone was in the pool laughing and playing!
For over two and a half hours, with a short break for a drink and snacks, the boarders and Hope House children enjoyed participating in various games and activities together, creating a fun, relaxed and playful atmosphere.
The Prem students made a fantastic effort to interact and play with the Hope House children. Hope House manager Deborah said after the event, "Please thank all your children today, they were excellent with our kids and played really hard for over two hours!".
Everyone had worked up an appetite after the pool party they enjoyed a tasty lunch in the cafeteria.
Thank you to Hope House for a wonderful event. The Prem students are already asking "when are Hope House coming back again? We had so much fun!" (Leonardo, grade 9).
