Boarding take a Trip to Elephant Hills Bush Camp
Last Saturday our Prem boarders were offered the incredible opportunity to travel by bus to Hod for an exclusive private […]
Last Friday saw the celebration of Earth Day across the school. The boarding community put on a special evening of entertainment, organised by the Boarding Student Council with the support of the Boarding Staff in collaboration with the Jam Session team (activity in boarding).
The amphitheater was twinkling in the candlelight, which set a very magical scene for the festivities.
Boarders and staff helped set up mocktails which proved very popular and put together hotdogs to snack on with a vegetarian option and fried onions.
The boarders and friends came dressed in their Earth Day t-shirts and adorned themselves in glow sticks.
The audience was enthusiastic and supportive to the performances despite some technical hitches ….the show must go on. The evening included, performances from Cluster 12s fantastically talented female singers, a violin recital, traditional Thai dancing, drumming and fire breathing.
The culmination of the evening was a toe tapping, hand waving sing along original composition from the Jam Session team.
It was a fun-filled evening that really encapsulated the boarding community spirit.
To follow up on our commitment to minimizing the boarding community carbon footprint we will be looking at our energy use and how we can decrease it.
