Bennet Lerner perfomance at Prem

Today we were very fortunate to have visiting concert pianist Bennet Lerner playing compositions by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, Tcherepnin, Copland, Irving Fine and Debussy for an audience of Prem students. Due to the air quality we were unable to hold this event in the auditorium but  Dr.Ryan’s music room. proved a smaller but more intimate and healthier venue.

Our thanks to Dr.Ryan and Aj.Alex for organising this inspiring opportunity for our students.

Also, whilst our IEP students found there was, sadly, not space for them in the performance room, they still had a musical themed afternoon thanks to Aj.Cara playing some beautiful flute for them, and then having a discussion using vocabulary about music. Our thanks to the IEP team and especially Aj.Cara for bravely stepping in to perform.
