The G7 class spent part of the morning on the farm in a triply connected learning experience: they explored what is “good work” for Individuals & Societies, materials for Design, and creativity through Artist Residency Thailand’s visiting practitioner. The students made cups from the farm’s bamboo, which allowed them to manipulate different tools and work with nature to make items in sustainable ways. The students will then reflect on what excellence is in this kind of work and how engagement and ethics play a role in creating meaningful experiences and we took advantage of our beautiful campus.
We will reflect on what it means to learn by challenging ourselves in different ways, gaining insights on who we are as we engage in actions for the first time and work with certain materials for the first time.
