Artist Residency Thailand community workshops with Jakkai Siributr

A reminder that we will be hosting community workshops next week with the acclaimed Thai artist Jakkai Siributr. His new long-term project, There’s No Place, is a collaborative ‘call-and- response’ embroidery project that seeks to create an ongoing dialogue between the Shan community of Northern Thailand and viewers around the world. These drop-in workshops ‘drop-in’ workshops are taking place on February 15 and February 17 from 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm. This will be an opportunity to get hands-on with the project, for between one-two hours, depending on your diaries. Everyone is welcome, students, teachers, parents and the wider community, but we have a maximum of thirty places per workshop, so please register your interest and predicted numbers using this form
