Last weekend our grade 11 and grade 12 Visual Art students took part in an ‘Art In’. Our wonderful Curriculum Leader for the Arts, Ajarn Liz, organized an amazing ‘menu’ of activities and workshops supported by an enthusiastic team of colleagues; which included experimental drawing with ink and bleach, long exposure photography, chiaroscuro workshops, digital projection, and cyanotypes. The students worked from 5 pm on Friday to 9 am on Saturday, and produced some wonderful work. Having this sustained studio time made a huge impact on the artistic development of these IB Visual Artists.
Thanks to the students who attended for their unflagging creative enthusiasm and energy and to all the staff who helped chaperone and run workshops throughout the night: Aj.Alex, Aj.Abbie, Aj.Erica, Aj.Susan, Aj. Crispian, Aj. Benjamin, Aj. Kate, Aj. Alex P, Aj, Jeff, Aj. Ian, Aj, Catherine, Aj.Elena Aj.Alina, and Aj.Bigz, and a massive thank you to Aj.Liz for organizing this event.
