Approaches to Learning in Grade 2

We have been engaged in a number of really interesting group problem-solving tasks and challenges in Grade 2, from building towers to saving eggs! Whilst the activities have been great fun, children have at the same time been focusing and reflecting on some key Approaches to Learning ( 21st Century Skills), in particular, social and communication skills.
Have a look at some pictures of the children in action displaying some of these key skills, as well as a picture of our skills wall, where children have been adding their own examples of when they have been using these skills.
Social Skills: Cooperating, Accepting Responsibility, Group Decision Making, Respecting Others, Adopting a Variety of Group Roles
Communication Skills: Listening, Speaking

Keep up the great work, grade 2!
