APIS Cross Country Meet

Last Tuesday the Prem Cross Country Team travelled to APIS to compete in the final Cross Country meet of the 2017/2018 season. The runners were well aware that there was likely to be a lot of uphill running due to the physical location of American Pacific School. In preparation, many of the team had spent a few sessions practising running up and down the hills surrounding our school.
Although none of our Junior School runners was actually above 13 years of age, they all placed extremely well given that they were running against older students. In the boys’ category, a rather ill Cameron (G5) did exceptionally well by taking first place, very closely followed by Noa (G5) in second place. June (G5) took first place for the girls.
In the over 14 categories, Frank (G8) ran really well and placed within the top 10.
A great day and a great season – well-done everyone!!!
