An Exciting Start To Futsal Season

After some delay due to the smoky air, futsal season is now in full swing. Prem is fielding seven teams: U12 boys and girls, U14 boys and girls, U16 boys and girls and U20 boys. It has been a fun season so far, full of excitement and with positive results.

The U16 boys kicked off their season last week with an 11-0 win over APIS. This was followed by some very exciting U12 and U14 boys' games, as Prem hosted both NIS and CMIS. Both Prem teams had comfortable wins over NIS. The U14 boys drew 4-4 with CMIS and the U12 boys came up short 5-7 in a thrilling encounter.

This week, the U16 girls opened their season with a strong 2-1 home win over Grace, while the U14 girls played 2-2 at Grace. The U20 boys also travelled to Grace and came up short in their first game of the season. The week was capped off with the U12 girls travelling to Grace, beating the hosts 4-1 and losing a close encounter to CMIS, 0-1. The U16 boys brought back to Prem an impressive 12-5 win over Grace.

Futsal will start up again after the April break, as our teams will be preparing themselves for upcoming CMAC championships.
