Amazing success for Caring for Cats Exploria

The Caring for Cats Exploria has been a big success.  Every other week we visit the cat adoption centre to help socialize the kittens and cats by playing with them, petting them and helping them get used to new people.  From these visits, we decision on actions we can take at school in order to help support this organization.  The Caring for Cats crew decided that they wanted to raise money.  Everyone teamed up to make carnival games, posters and bake treats to sell at International Day.  From these activities, and a large donation from A.Gillian, we were able to raise 10,607 baht! Liz, the founder of Adopt Me…ow Kitten Rescue and Adoption Chiang Mai was ecstatic.  She is planning to use this money to build an extension so the kittens have more space to move around and play.  Liz wants to call this space The Prem Kitten Room.  The Caring for Cats crew have already started making beds and toys for the new kitten room and they have many more fund-raising plans for season 3’s Exploria.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth at International Day by buying treats or playing games.  Due to your support we were able to exceed our fund-raising goal.  If anyone is looking to help further support this cause or looking to adopt a kitten, please visit the website www.adoptmeowchiangmai.com or facebook at Adopt Me-ow Chiangmai.  We really want to make a difference.
