AGW Spring Raffle 2019

Advocates for Global Welfare is a student-led organization from Prem Tinsulanonda International School who work to benefit the community and address the issues that the world faces today. This year, we are helping The Freedom Story, an organization based in Chiang Rai that provides scholarships to at-risk Thai students for them to stay in school in order to pursue their dreams and break the cycle of poverty and exploitation. For now two months, Advocates for Global Welfare has been getting ready for their biggest event of the year, the AGW Spring Festival at Prem Tinsulanonda International School that was due to be on Saturday the 4th of May, from 2 pm to 7 pm.

Unfortunately, due to the hazardous air quality the AGW team was forced to cancel the Spring Festival. However, we will continue to uphold the raffle sponsored by Le Meridien, The Four Seasons, Shangri La, Pizza Company as well as SF cinema and many more. The opening of the raffle prizes will happen on the 24th of May at 3:15 in the SS Undercroft and everyone is invited. There will as well be a musical performance at the beginning of the prize opening. We would like to also take the opportunity to thank all of our sponsors and express our gratefulness as well as support for this noble cause. The raffle ticket prices have been set at 40 baht due to the amazing prizes on offer, including a 2-night stay in a Deluxe Room at Le Meridien including breakfast, worth around 20,000 baht !

If you wish to be reimbursed for any entry tickets bought for the initial event, please to come to one of our designated selling stations, between the SS Stairs in the morning, in front of the school and at the cafeteria once the school day is finished.

Thank you for supporting us and don’t miss your chance to win great prizes!
