Arts Residency Thailand
The last few weeks of this academic year have seen some incredible collaborations and project engagement from Prem’s Artist Residency […]
Inspired by the activism of Greta Thunberg, Prem students marked Action for Global Climate Change Day with action of their own ( for more details of the world wide activism that happened today click HERE ). This included a minute silence to reflect on lives lost due to climate change, the cafeteria had a ‘Meat free Friday’, ( the link between meat production and climate change is outlined HERE ), some classes had a ‘no power hour’, plastic was collected with Grade 2 being leaders in this initiative, pledges were made by members of the community and in the SS Undercroft students and staff gave passionate speeches about the need for a more proactive approach to achieving sustainability.
It is heartening to see students striving so overtly to live the Prem Mission:
“We are a community that challenges its members to act as compassionate, knowledgeable and principled global citizens: working together for a sustainable future and inspired by meaningful relationships, continuous learning and good thinking.”
