More in You Than You Think
Prem Award Activity
Students in Grade 9 currently doing the Bronze award are involved in a number of activities supporting the local community. Many participants work with the Hand to Paw charity, supporting some of the many homeless dogs in the area, whilst, others work to help raise money for Operation Smile, which, is a charity involved with children born with cleft pallets.
Adding to this, we are in the process of developing a relationship with the school at the Ban Pa Khao Laam Hilltribe Village, to encourage service learning with communities further afield and to give something back to those not as fortunate as students at PREM. Finally, we have a number of school based activities, which, range from coaching sports teams, teaching musical instruments and supporting those with learning difficulties.
