A letter from the Director of Boarding to conclude term one 2015.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we complete our first term of the year, we have some excellent memories to take away.

Watching the younger students ice-skating with their ' buddy penguin' at the rink, seeing one of our older boarding students win the Young Chef Thailand award, and the spectacular event, which was the Moon Festival, had everyone in awe at the talents of our Chinese students.

Many of our boarders take their sport seriously, whether it is badminton, football, basketball, swimming or volleyball.  There is never an evening when the lights are not on in the gym, and the students are out there practicing for the next event.

Our community service programme has got off to a good start this term, the details of this are on the website and we will chart the progress of each student.  Every student in boarding has to complete 20 hours a year community service for local organisations.

With our goal of raising the academic platform in the school, we are pleased with the new system of prep support, which ensures all students are working with a member of the academic team four nights a week.

I have been fortunate enough to meet with parents visiting Prem this term, and hopefully throughout the next term, I will be able to speak with many more of you.

As always I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for trusting us with your children, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Enjoy the break,
Kind regards
A. Linda.
