A busy morning in the Early Years garden

Our Early Years students at Prem have their very own garden. All classes from EY1 – EY3 have the responsibility for developing and looking after a section of the garden.

EY2 will soon be planting sunflower seeds. As they get ready to plant the seeds, a lot of hard work was done to prepare the seedbed.

Take a look at the photos below as the EY2 students dug, broke down the soil, raked and hoed.

Ask your child about plants you have at your house? Who is responsible for looking after them? How could you grow plants at home that you could eat and could also help your family be sustainable?
