Saturday Library Time

On Saturday mornings from 10:00 – 12:00 Junior Boarding students (Grades 4 and 5) attend Prep in the library, supervised a member of the boarding staff. The library provides students with a quiet place to work. They also have the opportunity to seek individual support in their homework from an adult or their peers. As personal computer time is limited on the weekends, students can use the library computers for school work during this time, under supervision.

When finished with their assignments, students check out and read books for pleasure. They also play board games, which are provided by the library.

Nadia, Grade 5, says she enjoys helping younger students with their math when she finishes her own work. She appreciates the fact that she has teachers to help her with her own work as well.
